The VOICES FOR CHANGE project was created not only to support Ukrainian migrants, but also more broadly to 
raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and to reduce the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. It provides information about the 
myths and facts that persist in society, raises awareness of treatment options, and offers inspiration on how to 
deal with life situations. It also touches, to a lesser extent, on other sexually transmitted infections, which often 
arise in connection with testing.

Another very important part of the project is professional education and the involvement of specialists, not only in 
healthcare. The aim is to train professionals, improve communication with new communities, and show how to be 
good and supportive guides, not only in prevention. This includes an overall increase in health literacy and the 
creation of a supportive, non-discriminatory network. We place emphasis on prevention, testing, and follow-up 
care in the case of a positive result.
